The domaines

Relying on enterprising builders, the Bonvin family undertook great efforts forming its steep vineyards into superb domaines, patiently establishing a prestigious wine-growing heritage on the best slope of the Rhone valley

Charles Bonvin focused on values such as diversity of terroirs and authenticity of his wines. These are marketed under the name of their domaine: Brûlefer, Clos du Château, Terra Cotta, Château Conthey, Plan Loggier, Mont Fleuri.

We cultivate a whole range of native grape varieties: Petite Arvine, Amigne or Humagne, Cornalin and varieties of global renown, such as Marsanne or Syrah, which are also perfectly accustomed to the terraced vineyards of the Rhone valley.

Master winegrowers treat the vines according integrated production guidelines, respecting the environment.

We invite you to come and discover this maison firmly rooted in the Valais terroir, a symbol of a heroic viticulture that has created vineyards hanging in the clouds. Over the whole 160 years of existence, the Maison has never stopped to develop. From viticulture to sales to oenotourism; a maison full of surprises… But its identity remains linked to an exceptional heritage. Just like the greatest vine producers in France, Bonvin 1858 established itself through the years thanks to the quality of its terroirs and the high reputation of its “Domaine” wines.

A sign of this was the supreme distinction as “Winery of the Year” at the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse in 2014. A “maison du terroir” producing wines of character awaits you!
